We have a comprehensive bespoke service, in which we can produce almost anything in teak that you may require. No job is too large or too small. We can build almost any request. All products are carefully made by craftsmen using modern and traditional techniques and shipped directly to us from our supplier factories.

Launched at RHS Chelsea Flower Show our brand new range features many new items. FSC is the only timber certification scheme endorsed by environmental charities including WWF, Greenpeace and The Woodland Trust.

Ethically Sourced Plantation Teak

SVLK Certification & Government Controlled Plantations

All of our solid teak garden benches are ethically sourced from state-owned forestry firm Perum Perhutani, which is a Government controlled teak plantation in Indonesia. They ensure that the teak stock is well managed and serve to alleviate the stress on the world's tropical forests while offering a source of eco-friendly timber.

You may have noticed the SVLK certification logo on our home page. This is important as at Chic Teak we only deal with manufacturers that respect responsible logging in Indonesia and have obtained this highly valued SVLK Certification.

Launched in 2009, The Ministry of Forestry certification is only given to those manufacturers who abide by specific environmental requirements and source their wood from plantations that are managed by the Indonesian government. With this certification, the wood is confirmed as legally sourced and is able to be traded internationally.

As a responsible importer, Chic Teak only trades with certified manufacturers who actively support the ethical practices that the Indonesian government is introducing aross the country.
